Bridal Veil Falls...

Photobucket
On Wednesday for our weekly outing my sisters and I went to Bridal Veil Falls. It was a perfect day! I got there 1/2 hour before my sisters and had some fun with the kids and enjoyed how beautiful it was...

Photobucket
I'm in love with this!

Photobucket
There are no words for this... you can't tell me you have ever seen anything cuter! I'm thinking it might need to be blown up and hung in the house. :)

Do you see that slide??? The trail of mud... well the boys thought it was a slide and decided to slide down it and so...

Photobucket
Yes it looks like Maddy had an accident... both from the front and the back. Not sure if he peed his pants or just splashed on himself. I guess at that point it really didn't matter. A little while later(when the rest of his short seemed to be drying except the front) I asked him if he peed his pants-he seemed kind of confused and said he still needed to go pee. So he had his first experience peeing in a tree and was pretty dang proud of himself. He was laughing so hard at how far he could pee. I thought it was pretty funny. I guess boys will be boys!

Photobucket
Trying to clean the mud off... of course my sisters had their cameras right there. :)

Photobucket
Couldn't resist!

So Handsome...

Photobucket
On Tuesday Maddy had school pictures. He looked so handsome before he left I couldn't resist taking some pictures...

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket
Look at those eyes... could you say no to that face??? Of course we had to take some pictures with him in charge(he came up with all of these on his own)...

I love this in color as well...

I hope his school pictures are cute... if not I've got these right!?!

Nugget of My Eye...

After a few minutes of silence while driving in the car today...

Maddy: Mommy, you are my buttercup.
Me: Maddy, you are my honey.
Maddy: You are my orange.
Me: You are the apple of my eye.
Maddy: You are the nugget of my eye.

Whatever Wednesday: LOVE This...

Sheye Rosemeyer's blog is another one of my favorite photography blogs! If I ever figure out the whole Photoshop/Action business her Eye Candy Actions are at the top of my list. I absolutely love them. Definitely worth checking out!

Mall Adventure...

Photobucket
Friday my sisters Jamie and Stacy and I decided to brave the mall with our six kids. Lucky for us it was pretty empty. We did a little shopping for ourselves, let the kids play at the play area and grabbed some lunch at the eatery. Here is what I came home with...

Cute little black dress.
Black leggings.
Super cute red shoes.
Big bump above my eye & major headache(after smacking myself in the eye with the dressing room door.) :-(
Full belly... had a yummy steak philly sandwich.
Relief... that I'm not dealing with the drama my sister is. :-(

Here is some of the fun the kids had...

Music Monday: Every Time I Look at You...

I thought I would post this one because it was my Prom-a-nod song for my Junior Prom in 1993.

Everytime I Look at You:Kiss...

Admit it... you miss those hairband power ballads... I know I do! You can even check out some of my favorites on my playlist at the bottom of my blog. :-)

Not Feeling Well...

Photobucket
...he's spent the majority of the last couple days like this. :(

Hippo's Hop's Hamburgers...

Photobucket
Maddy made this in his cooking class this week. He was SO excited to show me when he got in the car when I picked him up. He said "Mommy, do you want to see what is in my bag?" I said "Sure!" He pulled it out(before I could even buckle his seat belt) and said "Look, it is a hamburger... I made it all by myself!" Of course it is a "treat" hamburger and really small. It was so cute and he was so excited I just had to take a picture. I couldn't get a very good picture but you get the idea. Here is the recipe if you want it...
Photobucket
P.S. I just love how it says it serves "many." :)

I wish I tanned this well after wearing SPF50 all summer... she definitely got some of her daddy's genes! :)

One Last Time...

Photobucket
Monday(Labor Day) was the last day Seven Peaks was open. The weather was perfect and we had a great time! We ended up going to Seven Peaks the last eight days it was open making a total of fifteen times this summer. My sisters went a lot more(29 for Jamie), but I think I got pretty good use out of my season pass. :)

The boys enjoying their pizza... I love how Maddy is licking his lips and has sauce all over his chin.

Photobucket
Love this picture! Maddy loves the Lazy River and insists on being in front... his keeps those legs going and does an awesome job. He has become quite the little swimmer!

Photobucket
My sister Jamie and two of her kids(Lola was snoozing away as usual.)

Thanks Jamie and Stacy for such a fun summer spent at Seven Peaks!

Seven Peaks 8/31/09- 9/5/09...

Photobucket
I have been to Seven Peaks every day that they have been opened for the past week. We are having fun enjoying these last days of Summer. Steve told me earlier in the week that he wanted to come with us to Seven Peaks on Friday. He usually comes with us once every summer. Maddy was so excited that he was coming with us. It was lots of fun and so nice to have him there to help with the kids(especially Avery-she is a hand full!) We rented a tube and had lots of fun in the Wave Pool, Lazy River and took the kids down the Tube Run slide. On our way home we stopped and got our favorite sandwiches at Jimmy John's. Here are some pictures from this past week...

Photobucket

Photobucket
Shalane also came on Friday and the kids had lots of fun playing with her.

Photobucket
I'm dying over this picture! Love it! These two usually steer clear of each other and haven't really liked each other at all. Then one day this past week they all of a sudden decided they love each other. Here is some of their fun together...

Photobucket

Photobucket
Maddy and Dallin have been having tons of fun with squirt guns lately.

Photobucket
Dallin

Photobucket
Look at that face-I want to eat him! :)

Photobucket
Love this picture! Avery really gets those legs going!

Photobucket
A little dancing. :)

Photobucket
They love playing in the tubes... except Avery is too scared to try and get out... pretty funny!

Photobucket
Isn't Jace such a cutie!

Photobucket
Doesn't it totally look like the boys are plotting something bad... and trying to get Claire to go along with it???

Photobucket
I'm telling you they were armed(and dangerous) and off to commit a crime... :)

Photobucket
Snack time... don't laugh-I had no makeup on whatsoever(where were my sun glasses???)

Photobucket
Saturday(9/5) was probably our last day at Seven Peaks unless the weather on Monday turns out better then the weather man is telling me. There was a duck race fundraiser going on and Maddy and Dallin were in heaven! They sat and stared at all the ducks for probably at least an hour... no lie! They would've stayed longer but we decided to leave. Who would've known all it takes is 7000 rubber ducks to keep a 3 & 5 year old in one spot for so long.

Photobucket
I just LOVE how sun bleached Maddy's hair is right now after practically living at Seven Peaks all summer. :)

Here are a couple Outtakes(I couldn't resist)...

Photobucket
This picture is total payback for Stacy. Last year when Jace was a baby she would totally find some conspicuous place to nurse him and Jamie would sneak a picture every time! Seriously, there is one from about every outing we went on. So Stacy decided to return the favor to Jamie. Don't you love the look on both of our faces!?!

Photobucket
This picture captures the love/hate relationship my kids have with the Waves perfectly! Avery is afraid of the waves and runs out as soon as they start. Maddy LOVES them and runs and starts diving into them. If you look closely you can see him at about the two foot mark(wearing turquoise and brown) diving right in. And yes... I'm totally laughing at Avery crying and running out(bad Mommy!)

Photobucket
Avery was also afraid of the duck... I myself thought he was pretty cute! :)

Photobucket
All we wanted was just a smile... they weren't having it.

Last but not least...

... Jamie talking pure nonsense!

Whatever Wednesday: Not Pretty(or edible for that matter)...

This is what happens when you put fish on the grill, log into Facebook, and then remember the fish is STILL on the grill an hour later...

Photobucket
Needless to say Steve didn't have fish for dinner...
I swear Facebook sucks away your brain cells. :P
