The 28th Time...

Photobucket
Maddy decided he wanted to try not wearing a swim shirt like his dad does when he comes... the other two boys gave it a try as well. It was so weird to me-something I will get used to I suppose. He said he really liked it and he told me the water felt so warm on his belly.

Crazy girl and her poor eye.

My nephew Cole and I... guess I haven't lost my touch yet.

We ended up all parking by each other... haha!

Five Places in One Day...

Photobucket
We had a marathon day on Wednesday! The kids and I left around 9:30AM and didn't get home until after 6:00PM. First we were off to story time at Barnes and Noble.

This is the book that was read to the kids.

Photobucket
Afterwards the kids got to make an insect finger puppet to go along with the book.

The kids showing off their finished products.

Photobucket
Our second stop was Borders. The kids got to pick out a free book for completing the "Borders Summer Reading Double-Dog Dare." They had to read (or in our case be read to) 10 books. These are the books they picked out.

Photobucket
By this point we were all hungry so our third stop was at Taco Bell for their $2 meal deals. After we ate we headed to our fourth stop-our fifth trip to Trafalga this month...

Photobucket
One of these is not like the other's :)

Photobucket
Two hot mama's and their boys!

Photobucket
The kids were having fun until they got cornered by Dallin and Claire and decided they didn't want to get wet...

Photobucket
They both started crying-clearly time to leave (it had been a long day!) Our fifth and final stop before heading home was Stacy's house. She lives close to Trafalga so we all relaxed and wound down. Actually the kids played outside in the sandbox (and got all nice and dirty) and at the park across the street while the mom's relaxed inside. The day wouldn't be complete without at least one injury however, Avery ran into something when she was coming back into Stacy's house and has a nice shiner on her eye. Poor girl she has got quite the scar collection going at such a young age! Before we left we picked a bunch of veggies from Stacy's awesome garden...

Photobucket
This is my stash, can you say YUMMY! LOVE it all! Thanks so much Stacy! We have a huge plate of yummy veggies every night for dinner-it's awesome! Finally we made it home and I made dinner (with tons of veggies of course) and got my filthy kids bathed (with bubbles of course) and ready for bed before sitting down to relax and watch SYTYCD.

Photobucket
Avery all squeaky clean and sporting her new battle wound...

Thanks Jamie and Stacy for providing some company throughout our crazy day!

The 27th Time...

Photobucket
We did it! Stacy, Jamie and I braved the pink (Shotgun Falls) and orange (Freefall) slides... yep that's right, the "Freefall!" I can't believe we did it, but it was so fun and not as scary as I thought it would be. Jamie was determined she wasn't going on it and we talked her into it... got to love peer (sister) pressure! Now I'm even more excited for the blue one on the other side that is suppose to be the scariest! First up was Stacy and I on the "Shotgun Falls"...

Photobucket
So fun and we even caught some air on the third bump.

Photobucket
Then I was up first for the "Freefall"...

Photobucket
Taking a peek-it seriously looked like it dropped straight down and I couldn't even see the slide until it started curving out... awesome!

Photobucket
No turning back now! Jamie got a couple pictures of me at the bottom, but lets just say I had a slight wardrobe malfunction so they won't be posted...

Photobucket
All the kids hanging out and playing while waiting to watch the Mom's go down the slides. They love watching-they think we are so awesome and we are right!?!

Photobucket
Love this!

Photobucket
Absolutely love this as well!

Photobucket

Photobucket
You'd think we'd have this figured out by now... so funny how they all look like they are hanging on for dear life!

The 26th Time...

Photobucket
It's been pushing 100 degrees lately so we are so glad we have Stacy's umbrella!

Photobucket

Photobucket
Most of the kids were a bit crabby so we tried to compensate...

Our 24th of July...

Photobucket
On the way home from Trafalga on Saturday we stopped and got a few fireworks. Both kids absolutely love them and had been begging me. Luckily at their ages a little goes a long way. They were asking me all day long if it was time for the fireworks. Finally it started getting a little dark so we all headed outside. Our neighbors across the street were out and so we decided to join them. They had a bunch more than we did so it was fun to enjoy them all together. We also had a couple different neighbors that were letting off the kind you can't buy in Utah. It was really fun to watch those as well. We think there was a malfunction of some kind with one of them that put on quite the show (for us at a distance at least) ... just imagine one that is suppose to shoot really high in the sky shooting sideways in both directions into the trees and such.

Photobucket
The fireworks the kids picked out (with a little assistance.)

The kids with some of the neighbor kids.

Photobucket
First time with a Sparkler-they both didn't quite know what to think...

Photobucket
... Avery looks a little possessed.

Photobucket

Photobucket
Afterwords they had root beer floats and peanut butter bars-yummy! Thanks Carter's for letting us invade!

I did a pretty good job staying behind the camera this time (and didn't know Jamie had taken this picture until she emailed them to me.)
