Steve took Avery to get her hair cut and I think it turned out so cute! Here are some pictures he sent me...

Unplanned Hair Cut...

Right before it was time to leave for church on Sunday I was in my bathroom finishing getting ready and when I came out to fix the kids hair I saw that Maddy had decided to give Avery a hair cut. When I asked him why he did it he said, "I thought it would look a little cuter and different." Needless to say we were late for church (and of course she had been asked to give a talk in Primary on that particular Sunday.) I have a feeling I will be using lots of hairspray and barrettes for a while.

New Do's for the New Year...

The kids really needed haircuts so Brooke let us sneak them in during Steve's hair appointment on Thursday. I think they turned out so cute! I took the picture above after we got home but I didn't have my camera during their haircuts so these were taken with my phone (and aren't the best quality)...

Maddy's hair had gotten so long and nappy (when it wasn't styled), so we decided to go super short...

Avery's hair was getting pretty long but is thin and stringy so we decided on a cute A-line...

First Haircut...

Avery had her very first haircut on Saturday. Brooke just had us come over real quick before we headed to Trafalga. Her hair was getting so long (in the back at least), but it is still pretty thin so it looked pretty stringy unless it was curled or in a ponytail. Avery did a great job and held really still for Brooke. I think it turned out so cute and looks a lot thicker. Here is a before...

Whatever Wednesday: New Do...

I wanted to do something fun with my hair for Fall and Winter. I decided to put both dark brown and blonde highlights as well as a really bright red. I put some red in my hair last year when I went really dark all over but didn't like how fast it faded. So... I decided to put red extensions in my hair so they wouldn't fade. It is my first time having extensions so it should be fun.

The pictures aren't the best because the lighting in my house sucked and it was later in the evening-making it even worse. I think you can get a pretty good idea-although the red is brighter than it appears.
