With not much to watch on TV lately I've had some time to watch some movies. Here are some I've watched lately...
I ended up watching this online on my laptop. So it wasn't the best quality and some of the dialogue I couldn't hear very well. I didn't know what I would think of it because I'm not a huge fan of Robert Pattinson's acting skills. I had low expectations and didn't love it but I ended up enjoying it and thought it had a great message. It also had a bit of an unexpected twist at the end.
I've been wanting to see this movie since it was in theaters. Steve and I watched it and we both absolutely loved it (no surprise!) Just a very well acted (by the entire cast), heart warming movie with another great message. Sandra Bullock so deserved her Academy Award! I also thought the actor that played her son was hilarious!
I loved this movie. Can't really go wrong with a Nicholas Sparks/Channing Tatum/Amanda Seyfried combination in my opinion. Great story about love and of course I got a little teary eyed. I also loved all the music in the movie (I featured my favorite song on my previous post for "Music Monday.") There is an alternate ending on the DVD (which is pretty close to how the book really ends I've heard.) If you have seen the movie and want to see the alternate ending you can check it out here. If you are a fan of "The Notebook" I'm almost positive you will love this movie as well.

I'm not quite sure what I think of this movie. I just finished watching it a few minutes ago and I'm still mulling it over. I would definitely describe it as odd. I guess that's to be expected from Tim Burton. I will say that the imagery, makeup, costumes and such were amazing! Kind of makes me want to do a "Alice in Wonderland" family theme for Halloween one of these years. Probably not this year though... we've already got our minds set on a particular idea. Now if we can just find everything to make our costumes as awesome and authentic as we want them to be!

I am so behind on watching movies. I have only seen part of The Blind Side!
