Mission Accomplished...

I think I can now safely say that Maddy is pottie trained. He is now going on his own(without me reminding him), and hasn't had an accident for a couple days. I even find myself forgetting-until he says "It is coming!" as he runs to the bathroom. He did pretty good from the beginning and only had two accidents the first day and one on days 2-7. We even took him out shopping yesterday. :) He has to do everything himself! Including dumping, flushing, rinsing his pottie, putting his underwear and pants back on and finishing up with washing his hands(now if I can just get him to aim a little better when he is dumping-or better yet get him to use the regular toilet.) :) Of course he always comes and finds me and says "I did it!" and "I am amazing!" He even wears his underwear during naps. The only time he doesn't is at night (I'm not quite brave enough for that yet.) His diapers have not been very wet in the morning but I'm waiting for a few dry mornings before I give it a go. I told him if he doesn't pee in his diaper at night we will get him a big boy bed so he is excited about that. I'm not quite sure how I feel about the new freedom he will have and how it will affect his sleep. :( Sometimes he INSISTS on wearing his underwear backwards(as you can see in the picture above) so he can see the Diego picture on the front(he usually ends up with a wedgie because they obviously weren't made to be worn that way.) I'm very proud of my little big boy and it wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. Here are a few more pictures from the past week.

Finishing the job by cleaning up. Don't you just love that bare bum on the counter(don't worry, I've been cleaning the bathroom a lot more lately!)
