Happy Birthday Jennifer!

Happy Birthday Jen! I wish you were here(or us there) so we could take you out and celebrate! Jennifer is just 18 months younger than me so we were buddies growing up. She was always the one trying to find out why I was sad(as I was trying to hide the fact that I was crying in bed at night over some stupid boy.) It just might have been one of these boys. :) We played together(including trying to build a real airplane), shared friends, danced together, shared a room, played softball together, shared clothes(despite trying to be sneaky about it and coming home and changing before the other one got home), had fights like only sisters can, worked two different jobs together, chased boys together, went to dances together and the list just goes on and on. Jen, I have lots of fond memories of you and I hope you have a wonderful birthday because you deserve it! I remember always fixing your hair on "picture day." You are such a beautiful caring person and always go out of your way to make sure other people are happy. You have such a great heart and we miss you so much! I think of you every time we hang out as sisters and wish you were here with us. Thanks for all the packages of clothes you send the kids. Thanks for coming out this past summer and playing with the kids so much. Maddy still talks about you! We love you!!!

This is a picture of Jennifer on her blessing day. Such a cutie!

This was April of 1979. I was almost 3 and Jennifer was almost 18 months.

This was on Jennifer's 3rd birthday in 1980. Don't you just love my curlers! We grew up in curlers-I even used them to do my hair for my wedding day.

What a great post about your sis. I always love seeing all of your childhood pictures. You must have raided your Mom's photo albums. I think it's awesome!
