Bitter/Sweet Day...

Last Friday was a bitter sweet day for me. Earlier in the day I was taking care of something I'll elaborate about in a future post. As for the sweet part, our really really good friend Dan (and his beautiful fiance Kaylie) got married. They are such a cute couple and I'm so excited for them! Dan has seriously been like family to us for 10+ years. He asked Steve to be his best man and so we all spent the evening at their reception (my camera battery was completely dead so all these pictures were taken with my phone-thus the poor quality)...

The kids were so excited they got to help trash decorate Dan's car-they did quite the job (sticky syrup and all-and came home wearing some of it)...

It was a beautiful hot pink and lime green reception (with an ice cream bar for dessert)...

Friends Wedding...

Our really good friends Mike and Brittney got married on Saturday. We were so excited for them-they are such a fun couple. Mike asked Steve to be his best man and of course he gladly accepted. I had to take the family picture opportunity... how often to you get to see your man in a tux!?! I haven't seen Steve in a tux since we got married over fourteen years ago. The pictures aren't the best quality, but here are a few I took...

It was a beautiful wedding with yummy food, cake covered faces and dancing. We also enjoyed catching up with some friends we hadn't seen in a while.
