Lehi Library Craft & Story Time...

Tuesday we had another marathon day. We started off with a quick Sloppy Joe lunch at Stacy's house and then headed to the end of the Summer Lehi Library Craft & Story Time. After we finished at the library we headed to the Thanksgiving Point Gardens for $2 August Tuesdays (more on that in the next post.) After the gardens we grabbed some burgers and ice cream at Arctic Circle and headed back to Stacy's to eat and hang out for the evening. Anyway here are a few pictures from the library...

Provo Library Craft #7...

We had planned on not going to the library until Thursday but the it was a bit rainy on the way to Seven Peaks so we decided to stop and just do the craft to see if it cleared up a bit. It did so we skipped the picnic and story time and headed to Seven Peaks. My kids colored these little ping pong paddle boards for their craft and also got to turn in their punch cards (for attending the crafts/story time at least six times each) for tickets to the magic show. They also got tickets to the pool party and got to pick out a free book  for completing the Summer reading program.

Provo Library Craft/Story Time-Picnic #5...

Thursday we headed to the library again for crafts, a picnic and story time. The kids made these fun airplanes. Stacy brought sandwiches with all the fixings including lettuce from her garden... can't wait for all the other yummy veggies she is growing to be ready! Story time was pretty entertaining as well...

Provo Library Craft/Story Time-Picnic #4...

We headed to the library again on Tuesday and the kids made another fun craft. The kids also got their "half way" prize for Summer reading, which was a sucker and a bookmark. Then we headed outside for a picnic and story time before heading to Seven Peaks again.

Provo Library Craft/Story Time-Picnic #2...

Thursday we attended the craft/story time/picnic at the Provo Library again. The kids had lots of fun. They especially loved playing hide-n-seek for quite a while afterwards...

Provo Library Craft/Story Time-Picnic...

Thursday we went to the Provo Library to check out some of their Summer activities. Every week they offer different crafts for the kids and then Story Time outside where you can also bring a picnic to enjoy while you listen to the stories. They also have a Summer reading program (with incentives) that we are going to try out.

The craft for my kids age group was making these hats. They mostly just wanted to color though...

After we finished with the crafts we went out to Story Time. They had a cute puppet story and we all brought yummy food to share... pulled pork sandwiches, lots of fruit, string cheese and cookies. We should have gone earlier to the story time so we could sit in the shade under the canopy because it was hot and the kids were tired but we will know better for next time.
