Snow in April...

After three beautiful Spring days we woke up to snow Sunday morning. As ready as I am for Spring and as much as I wanted to be annoyed with Mother Nature, I just couldn't because it was so beautiful! Seriously, for some reason as I was driving all my myself on the quiet Sunday morning streets I was kind of taken back by how beautiful everything looked covered in white. You would've thought I'd never seen snow before! It made me think about how quickly things can change in life and that change is constant. We went from 70 degree weather to snow overnight. I know I'm a big cheese ball and I'm also a big nerd, so of course I pulled out my camera and took some pictures along my drive. I wanted to have some pictures to remind me of this beautiful morning (I was so distracted I even missed my turn lol!)...

Funny Daddy, Mean Daddy...

Sunday we woke up to snow and Steve headed out to shovel. He was in the backyard shoveling the patio and Maddy decided he wanted to go out and play. Steve had told him that there was a Ben 10 toy hidden in the snow for him (which there wasn't) and so he was searching the whole backyard for a while until he finally realized Steve was teasing him. I had told Avery to stay in the house because she wasn't dressed for snow (short sleeved shirt and flip flops), as you can see she didn't listen. Steve took advantage of the situation and threw a shovel full of snow at her (I caught him in the act in the picture above)... so mean! After that she had a change of heart and came into the house pretty quick.

These kids sure do love their Daddy (and the snow!)

I guess I shouldn't complain too much... it happened April 16 last year.

Fun in the Snow...

We woke up to lots of snow today... Maddy said "Look Mom, it is snowing-is it my birthday?" His birthday is next week and he associates snow with his birthday. We headed out and had some playing in the snow.

Crazy Things Happen...

When you wake up on APRIL 16 to this...

On APRIL 16 we had some fun taking goofy pictures since winter weather decided to make a come back. :( As you can see Maddy has also really been bulking up... LOL!

I couldn't even bring myself to go outside to take the picture...

Snow...

Today when we woke up we looked outside and guess what we saw? Snow! Crazy! It is only October 12 and we already have snow. Maddy was so excited and kept looking out the window and saying "Mommy look it is snowing, I love the snow." Of course Avery was trying to see what he was looking at. I thought it was really cute and had to take a picture.
