Ward Trunk or Treat...

Photobucket
Last Saturday Jamie and I took our kids to my ward truck or treat. The kids had fun and got way too much candy. And I may or may not have had a mouth full of candy...

Primary Pioneer Activity & Bike Parade...

Photobucket
Saturday I took the kids to the Primary Pioneer Activity at our local park. They had a bike parade and a bunch of Pioneer games/activities as well as homemade muffins and root beer. The kids had a fun time!

Maddy absolutely loves riding his bike! As soon as the games were over and it was time for food he wasn't too interested in the food and just wanted to ride his bike. He took several laps around the park. Now if we can just get those training wheels off :)

Avery wasn't really interested in the games and preferred playing on the playground.

Slip-N-Slide & Snow Cones...

Photobucket
Tuesday the Primary had a slip-n-slide & snow cone party at the park in our neighborhood. It was the kids reward for filling up the scripture jar in Sharing Time. Each week the kids that brought their scriptures got to put a rock in the jar until it was full. Maddy wanted his own scriptures so he could bring them to church so we took him to the Distribution Center several weeks ago and got him his own little Book of Mormon. He was so excited and loves taking it to church every week. We've even had to turn around and go back home before to get it because he forgot it. They had two slip-n-slides set up, a bigger one (which was 10' x 100') for the bigger kids and this smaller one that my kids went on (which was still pretty long.) They weren't brave enough to go on the big one yet. It took some convincing but we finally got Avery to go down (I had to hold her hand and walk beside her the first time) and she ended up loving it and went several times.

Easter Egg Hunt/Picnic...

Photobucket
On Saturday our ward had a Easter egg hunt/picnic for the Primary kids. We brought sack lunches and then the kids could decorate bags for the Easter egg hunt. My kids decided they didn't want to decorate their bags because they wanted to keep playing on the playground. Then it was time for the Easter egg hunt. Maddy knew exactly what to do and took off and I stayed with Avery. They had a fun time and were too busy checking out their candy to look at the camera.
