Sammy's...

Photobucket
As if the library and Seven Peaks wasn't enough for the day we decided to head to Sammy's for their 2 for 1 Tuesday shakes and some fries. YUM! Don't we look like a bunch of pool rats...

Provo Library Craft/Story Time-Picnic #9...

Photobucket
Tuesday was the kids last day at the library for the Summer. Maddy was so excited about the compass and insists on taking it in the car whenever we go somewhere and telling me what direction we are going. Avery loved her little coloring book as well. I also grabbed a beach ball for them to color and share... naughty me-you're only suppose to choose one craft per child. Our picnic and story time were enjoyable as well...

Breakfast at Kneaders...

My parents and niece McKayla spent the weekend at my sister Stacy's. Monday morning we all headed to Kneaders for breakfast before Stacy, Jamie and I headed to Seven Peaks. It was yummy and nice to spend time together.

24th of July...

Photobucket
Our good neighbor friends Brooke and Rick invited us over to watch fireworks on the 24th. They bought some cool aerial fireworks an put on a pretty good show. We had a fun time. I snapped these couple pictures with my phone so they aren't the best quality...

Primary Pioneer Activity & Bike Parade...

Photobucket
Saturday I took the kids to the Primary Pioneer Activity at our local park. They had a bike parade and a bunch of Pioneer games/activities as well as homemade muffins and root beer. The kids had a fun time!

Photobucket
Maddy absolutely loves riding his bike! As soon as the games were over and it was time for food he wasn't too interested in the food and just wanted to ride his bike. He took several laps around the park. Now if we can just get those training wheels off :)

Avery wasn't really interested in the games and preferred playing on the playground.

Provo Library Craft/Story Time-Picnic #8...

Photobucket
It was "Christmas in July" week at the library and so I helped Maddy make this cute bobble head snowman. Avery decided on another paddle board.

Photobucket
During the picnic/story time Jace got one of the monkeys thrown to him when they were singing the song, "5 Little Monkeys," so he was pretty excited.

Kids Summer Day Camp #4/Girls Day Out-Jamie's Birthday...

Photobucket
Wednesday the kids had Summer Day Camp again (it was the last one.)  It was cowboy week and they made brown grocery sack cowboy vests, went to see horses, had lunch and made homemade ice cream. They had a great time. It was also Jamie's birthday, so Stacy and I decided to take her to Sammy's for lunch because they have great food, pie shakes and Jamie had never been there before.
Photobucket
The birthday girl with her blueberry pie shake... so yummy!

Got to love my goof ball sister Stacy!

Photobucket
After we ate we went to the Provo Mall for a little shopping and then the kids and I hung out at Jamie's for a while after we picked them up from day camp. Thanks girls for a great day, and Happy Happy Birthday Jamie!

Provo Library Craft #7...

Photobucket
We had planned on not going to the library until Thursday but the it was a bit rainy on the way to Seven Peaks so we decided to stop and just do the craft to see if it cleared up a bit. It did so we skipped the picnic and story time and headed to Seven Peaks. My kids colored these little ping pong paddle boards for their craft and also got to turn in their punch cards (for attending the crafts/story time at least six times each) for tickets to the magic show. They also got tickets to the pool party and got to pick out a free book  for completing the Summer reading program.

Seven Peaks #20...

Friday was all about kids, kids, and more kids! Stacy's sister-n-law Ashley came as well as Jamie's friend Andrea. Between the 5 of us we have 13 kids (ranging from ages newborn to 7) and 3 on the way (and no I'm not among the ones expecting.)

Dippidee Princess Party...

On Thursday Jamie, Stacy and I took the kids to a Princess Party at Dippidee (they had a pirate party a few weeks back that we went to.)

Photobucket
The girls immediately got busy making a crown...
Photobucket
Then headed off to the face painting...
Photobucket

Photobucket
The boys made crowns too, the Kingly type of course but weren't interested in wearing them. They loved playing the match game where you paired the Disney princess with her prince.
Photobucket
The kids picked out a cupcake and then we headed to Stacy's for a play date. Her neighbors have an awesome backyard that the kids were able to play in... they had a swing set, trampoline, sandbox, slide, and lots of grass for them to run around on. We sat in the shade to watch them and of course relaxed. Then we ate homemade pizza and the kids picked peas from her garden. Life is so good for these kids! I hope one day they realize how blessed they are to have each other!
