Dentist...

On Weds. July 29 I took the kids to the dentist for the first time. When I went to the dentist a couple months ago Maddy really wanted to go and wanted the "cool" toothbrush, toothpaste and floss I brought home. Well when Steve told him he was going to the dentist he wasn't so excited. We used a bunch of bribery and by the time I got him there he was a little nervous but ok with it. He was such a trooper and did such a good job! Even while they were doing the xrays. He was so excited to get his toothbrush, floss and sticker. He was bummed that they didn't give him a "little toothpaste" so Steve took him to Wal Mart and bought him one. :) Avery on the other hand was another story. She freaked out as soon as I put her on the chair and was not going to open her mouth no matter what. Luckily they were only going to do a quick visual exam this time so she just made it real quick. As a result I wasn't able to get a picture of her. :( Hopefully when we go again in six months it won't be so bad.
