SYTYCD 5.4...

Last night the top 14 performed. There was a wide range of performances and I thought everyone did pretty good.

Jonathan and Asuka were sent home last week. I was OK with this and felt it justified.

My very favorite and recipient of my Gold medal is Kayla & Kupono's Contemporary Routine choreographed by Sonya Tayeh. It was performed to Eyes On Fire by Blue Foundation. It was a dark vampire themed routine. Pretty brilliant if you ask me given the current vampire craze! Sonya is quickly becoming one of my favorite choreographers. I also really like these two as a couple! Check it out here...

My Silver medal goes to Melissa & Ade's Pas De Deux choreographed by Thordal Christensen. It was performed to Romeo & Juliet by Prokofiev's Suite No. 1 Op. 64b, 6th Movement Orchestre De La Suisse Romande & Armin Jordan. I thought it was absolutely beautiful! She is super talented and I'm curious what they would've done had someone else drew this dance? Check it out here...

My Bronze medal goes to Jeanine & Phillip's Hip Hop Routine choreographed by Napoleon & Tabitha. It was performed to Love Lock Down by Kanye West. The two were literally chained together and I thought it was a really fun routine. Check it out here...

They are all doing so well I don't really want to see anyone go home but my guess for the bottom three are Caitlin & Jason, Randi & Evan and Karla & Vitolio. Let me know what you all think.

I loved last night! I thought they all did pretty well. I agree with you, except I really loved Randi and Evans performance. You are probably right about the bottom three though. I have a bad feeling it might be Ade and Melissa in the bottom three this week though, because I know a lot of people don't get classical dance. I hope not though. I loved it!

I didn't like the ballet routine much, I don't know why!
