Dinner at Nana & Papa's 9/19/09...

On Saturday we went to Ephraim for our monthly get together. We had some of the best food ever! Sanpete BBQ turkey, scones, potatoes and homemade strawberry(and peach)pie. It was SO yummy! Yes I had more than one scone... and yes I had more than one piece of pie. :) As you can see everybody enjoyed themselves...

If it looks like I was crying it is because I was... involuntarily. :( My eyes had had it! Earlier in the week my contact ripped and half of it was lost in my eye for a couple hours. By the time it worked its way out my eye was completely bloodshot and sore from all the rubbing. It seriously felt bruised for several days. I also came down with the nasty head cold the kids had and it was starting to peak right about then. Then to top it off I(my eyes) just couldn't handle the fumes the grease made while my Mom was cooking the scones. I seriously couldn't control the crying-it was like I was cutting an onion nonstop. I finally had to go outside to make it stop. I have to admit it was pretty funny, but at the time I wasn't happy about getting my picture taken and Jamie seemed to enjoy my misery and wouldn't stop taking them. This was the best of the bunch(before it got bad)... the rest seriously were BAD! Love ya James, although I didn't then. :P

My Mom is always a trooper at watching Avery so I can have a break... they've all learned she is quite the handful! :)
