Today my sister Stacy and I took our kids to the park. The park is right across the street from her house so it was so convenient! The kids just loved it and we had a great time!
Maddy was so excited to take his lunch in his "Nemo" lunch box and insisted that he carry it. When he could see the park he was so excited to go start playing that he took off running and ended up dropping his lunch box which fell open and his sandwich fell out and fell apart on the grass. He wasn't about to stop and pick it up though. It was pretty cute. I still made him eat his sandwich after we put it back together(there's like a 10 second rule right?)
My favorite picture of the day! I just love the angle of the picture and how happy Maddy looks. He LOVED swinging and didn't want me to stop pushing him.
My favorite picture of Avery! She LOVED the swing too!
My favorite of my nephew Jace. Look at those beautiful blue eyes!
Avery having some fun...
Avery and I on the slide.
At first Maddy was afraid to go down this slide and wanted me to hold his hand. After the first time down he realized it wasn't scary and didn't hesitate going over and over(as usual.) He kept saying, "Mom, it's not scary, it is really fun!"
Avery and I trying to race Maddy. Stacy and Jace in the last picture.
This was my favorite part of the day. Maddy was pushing Avery in the swing and she couldn't stop giggling. We got it on video and it is the cutest thing. You HAVE to watch the video clip at the bottom of the post!
Maddy having fun. The top right one cracks me up, his pants kept sliding down. I love the bottom right one to. He looks like he is heading to school with his little lunch box. He is growing up way too fast!
Of course a day at the park wouldn't be complete without a picnic! Thanks Stacy for the yummy lunch you packed and tell Justin the homemade bread was SO yummy! It was even a hit with Steve! Thanks for taking the pictures and sharing your little park with us we will definitely have to go again!

Ha, the picture of you swinging one kid and holding the other is classic! Mothers seriously don't get enough credit!
The video did turn out pretty cute. Sorry it was a little jumpy! The pictures turned out way cute and the kids seemed to love it! Hey did you get some sun? I sure did!
I am sad I missed it! That is such a cute video of Maddy and Avery!!! Where did you get your lunchbox?
Jamie-I actually got it at Michaels(random?) a couple months ago. They had a end cap of them up front across from the registers(including cars, spiderman, etc.). They also had the regular square size. I think they were $5.00, but I had a 40% coupon so I paid like $3.00. Did you get my message about Stephenie Meyers being on Ellen today?
