So my favorite part of the day is probably Maddy's bedtime. He is so cute and gentle at bedtime. His bedtime routine goes like this. We change his diaper, put on jammies(that's what he calls them), he brushes his teeth and takes his vitamin. He then gets friends(baby stuffed tiger and bigger(mama) stuffed tiger) and his burpee's(burp clothes that are like his security blankets) and sippie with water in it. He then runs excitedly into our office and gets into the rocking chair. We then have to play "La La" which is Fergie's music video for "Big Girls Don't Cry." He calls it "La La" because of the la la sound she makes at the beginning. We have been watching this video every night for months and he never gets tired of it. Steve has even considering sending Fergie an email to tell her his 2 year old son has a huge crush on her(jk). As soon as the video is over he tells us to fold our arms so we can say prayer. Depending on how tired he is sometimes we help him say it or one of us says it. He gets really excited at the end to say amen. He takes a couple more sips of water and then we take him into his room and turn on his white noise machine. We give him lots of hugs and kisses and then lay him down in his crib. No matter how many hugs and kisses we give him as soon as we lay him down he says "one kiss." He has to give me one more kiss and it has to be on my neck and he giggles the whole time. He is so sweet and innocent-if only they could stay that way.
My little Wonder! Maddox is 6 years old. He loves his sister, the color green, Transformers, Ben 10, Beyblades, dinosaurs, playing DS, swimming, learning in school and church, playing outside, playing with his friends, making sound effects, pretending and trying to do everything by himself.
My big Miracle! Avery is 4 years old. She is a former 25 weeker weighing in at 1 pound 9 ounces. She spent 90 days in the NICU growing but breezed through with no major complications or any surgeries at all. She adores her big brother, loves the color blue, "babies" (dolls), Hello Kitty, Diego, coloring, climbing nonstop and learning in school and church. She is very determined and feisty.
Avery and Maddox are only 15 months apart. They are already best buddies. They love pretending together and are always busy doing something. One thing's for sure... they keep me very busy!

Love it!! I also love bed time for lots of reasons (like quiet time finally) one of them is getting kisses and saying love you and the girls saying it back. So innocent, I also wish sometimes they would stay this way forever!
That is so sweet! I HATE bedtime because it is a royal battle around here. Zane and Zoey thinking up any possible excuse not to go to bed! Your post made me think I need to slow it down and enjoy, some nights I do better than others at this!
Very Cute! Bedtime is my favorite time also. E and W know how to work us. They are by far the cutest and funnest at this time so it makes it hard to but them to bed. What I love most about it is by far all the hugs and kisses...then I get time to myself.
I must admit that quiet time is also up there in why it is my favorite time of day. By about this time of day my patience is starting to fade away quickly.
I can tell that you are a great mom! I get to the point that I just start yelling everyone get yourselves in bed. My patience is really gone by bedtime.
This is so cute! You are so cute with him, lucky boy.
