View From Our Bed...

Photobucket
We had some enlargements from our family photo shoot in November done for Steve and I's bedroom. We had them done in b&w so they would be more timeless (I plan on keeping them forever)... I absolutely love love love them! This is the view if you are laying on our bed. Here are some closeups of each one (note: they are pictures of pictures and the lighting wasn't great so the quality isn't the best)...

Seriously... can you say Gap model!?!

Not sure why the inside edge of the frame is reflecting copper... it's really a brushed silver.

So precious... doesn't she look like a little porcelain doll?

This is what I saw in the mirror as I was headed out of the room and thought it was pretty cool, so I took a picture :)

Next project... GIANT family picture for our living room.

P.S. We are trying to decide what color to paint our bedroom... any ideas?

Play Date...

Photobucket
Photobucket
This past Friday my sisters Jamie and Stacy (and kids) came over for a play date. Stacy brought a fun snowman kit so the kids could made crafty snowman pictures (shown above.) They had lots of fun playing together and we had lots of fun catching up... due to illness's and such we haven't all three hung out since Christmas.

Cool Setting...

Steve was playing around with the settings on his camera phone on Sunday morning and took these cool pictures of the kids. I love how candid (he took them while the kids thought he was waiting for the camera to work) they are and how they turned out...

Trafalga Again...

Photobucket
Steve and I took the kids to Trafalga again on Friday afternoon. We were all excited to play Laser Tag. The whole place was so crazy busy that we had to sign up and wait about a half hour to play. I didn't put a vest on Avery this time because she hated it last time and so I figured we mine as well not let hits against her count. She just followed me around (and kept telling me that she wasn't crying) which worked out a lot better. I think she had a little fun trying to keep up with me because I was running all over the place because we were up against about 20 people. Our small team of 3 came in second place (the team that won had 13 people and the team that got third had 4 or 5 I believe.) So I think we did a pretty good job given the odds. Maddy and Steve stuck together and "had each other's backs." Of the three of us Steve got the most points, then Maddy then me... if it's any consolation I had the best accuracy rate :) The indoor miniature golf course was finished so while we waited to play Laser Tag we played a round of golf (which was also really backed up)...

We chatted with some friends we saw there and then Steve and Maddy played a few arcade games (Maddy really wanted to win some tickets so he could pick out a prize) before we decided to ditch the craziness...

Later that evening we grabbed some take out from Cafe Paesan and enjoyed the rest of our evening together.

Trafalga...

Photobucket
Wednesday my sister Stacy and I decided to take the kids to Trafalga. We all have the "Pass of all Passes" so it's free for us to go which is always a plus! We went a lot during the Summer and the kids have been asking me about once a week if we can go. Needless to say they were super excited when I told them we were going. We tried Laser Tag for the first time ever and (most of us) had lots of fun. Avery wasn't a fan and just followed me whining and crying dragging her gun (making us easy targets.) Maddy absolutely loved it and has been talking about it ever since and can't wait for Steve to come with us soon. Our team is pictured above and we played against two other teams. We came in last and of course the team of older boys had obviously played a lot and won by a long shot. We will be better prepared next time!

Photobucket
Maddy really got into it!

The kids and I figuring out our guns and getting ready to play.

Maddy also loved the go karts... Avery was too afraid to try and drive them. Jace tried but was still to young to figure out how to steer and push the gas at the same time.
Photobucket
The Frog Hopper is always a boucy favorite!

Photobucket
The kids love pretending to play the arcade games and really get into it and think they are actually playing. They especially loved this new "Pirates of the Carribean" one!

They have done a lot of remodeling and it looks so much better and is a lot cleaner. The rock wall is now on the main floor and they have added a bunch more games, bowling and are adding an indoor minuture golf course on the third floor. The kids can't wait to play! I'm sure we'll be going back soon! They are also excited for the weather to warm up so all the attractions outside will be open... is it Spring yet!?!

Lego City...

Photobucket
Maddy made this Lego City all by himself earlier this week... he was so proud and wanted a picture of it taken. He also made it very clear to me that the black crate in the back is California.
