This past Wednesday was an exciting day for us. I finally enrolled Maddy in a soccer skills class and Avery in gymnastics. I've been wanting to for a while and finally did it. They were so excited (as were Steve and I)...
The kids having a snack while they waited for class to start. We hadn't made it to the store yet to get the proper shoes and what not for Maddy so we made due for this first lesson.
Maddy did such a great job! I wasn't sure how he would like it, he's pretty shy when learning new things. But he jumped right in and gave it his all. He even got a goal when they were scrimmaging at the end. He was so excited to go again. I tried all the settings on my camera and none of them were taking decent pictures in the arena so this was the best I got of Maddy (I will have to try and get some better ones later.) Before his class ended I had to hurry and take Avery to her gymnastics class and then Steve and Maddy headed over to watch her once Maddy's class was over...
While Avery was at gymnastics I finally figured out that my phone was taking better pictures than my camera so I got a few more of Avery that are OK...
Hanging on the uneven bars was her favorite part of the day... seriously she was in heaven! She is such a (strong) little monkey and was finally able to monkey around without getting in trouble :) She was so excited, jumping and giggling the whole time she could hardly contain herself. Steve, Maddy and I were laughing throughout her entire lesson. They definitely burned some energy (Maddy ate three entire pieces of pizza himself that night) and wore themselves out...
I'm so excited for both of them... I think we found them both something they love and will excel in!

They will have so much fun! I can't wait until Avery is doing flips which I am sure will be very soon!!!!
