Just Plain Tired...

Maddy has been transitioning to taking no nap. I usually still try and get him to take one(more for my sake) if we are home. It works about half the time. Some days he does ok without one but lets us know he is ready for bed. Some days he just can't quite make it and falls asleep around five or so, sometimes in random places...

This was yesterday downstairs in our office. He was hanging out with Steve and Dan(while I took a little nap myself) and I guess he just couldn't stay awake any longer.

This was today after church(we have the dreaded 1pm-4pm block.) I guess they were both in need of some zzzz's. It is Steve's birthday today and I can't think of anything he would want more. He loves his cuddle time with Maddy! We had a pretty low key day and just hung out at home. Our really, really good friend Alison(we consider her family) totally hooked us up and made dinner(and Steve's favorite cake) for us and brought it over. It was so yummy! We had a great time hanging out with her and her four kids and catching up. We have missed our Sunday dinners together with her and her family!

This is the cake I got for Steve's birthday from Kneaders of course. It is chocolate mousse. It is also really good but I think I've had way too much cake in the last two days. Saturday was my niece and nephews birthday(we had pizza and cake) and then also had pizza and cake again that night(per Steve's request) and then had cake again today. I better be a good girl and get all my workouts in next week! :)
