Maddy is in a very independent stage and is constantly surprising me with what he can do himself. Yesterday Steve went across the street to the neighbors house and Maddy went out shortly after looking for him. I went out to make sure he found him and called his name. All of a sudden he came out of the passenger side of my car with the keys and said "Maddy turn on the car." That was enough to knock some sense into me so I guess we won't be letting him play with our car keys anymore. Today Maddy asked for some cereal so I gave him some in a bowl. He usually eats it without milk unless he asks for it and then we sit at the table. Well today I went downstairs for no more than 5 minutes and when I came back upstairs I got another surprise. He had decided he wanted milk in his cereal. He got the milk out of the fridge himself and poured what was left in the gallon(luckily not a lot) into his bowl. Surprisingly he even put the lid back on the empty milk gallon. As you can see there is hardly any cereal but the bowl is clear full of milk. I'm just glad I came up when I did.
Then he started playing in it-this was about the point when I ended his fun and cleaned it up.

So much fun. Atleast there will always be an adventure to write about!
Looks like a lot of fun.....for Maddy that is! Is it fruit loops? Where is the good old fashion mush?
I haven't been on the blogs lately, I had some catching up to do! I love the old pics also! Yeah, so I thought it was Steve that kept the yard looking so good, but between the two of you your yard should and is practically perfect! Good job, I'm totally jealous! I'm sorry that this week has just slipped by and we didn't get M and W together. My brother comes home tomorrow from his mission and this week I guess has just flown by for this reason and that! I promise we'll get together next week!
Oh Steph!!!! What joys are yet to come for you!!! You have just inspired me to write a blog post...thanks! Maddy seems like such a sweet little boy and I'm sure he's at a super fun age right now. Isn't it fun watching these little people grow and learn? I think it's amazing! Thanks for sharing!
Yeah, we're going through that too. I finally banned chocolate milk after it ended up all over the floor three times in less than 24 hours!
